Dr. Darryl C. Wyatt is a veteran Nevada educator, school improvement strategist, and advocate for educational equity with over 30 years of service in K–12 public education. A former award-winning principal and current school improvement consultant, Dr. Wyatt has led transformative work at schools across Nevada—from turning around Woolley Elementary with double-digit academic gains to advancing strategic initiatives at Bailey Middle School and Somerset Academy Stephanie.

As a trusted consultant with the Nevada Department of Education, he supports underperforming schools through leadership coaching, root cause analyses, and data-driven improvement planning aligned with ESSA and state accountability frameworks. His efforts have shaped guidance documents, professional development tools, and systemwide improvement strategies across the state.

Dr. Wyatt also brings a passion for developing future leaders, having served as an adjunct professor at UNLV, National University, and Regis University, where he taught graduate courses in school law, action research, and leadership.

He holds B.S., M.Ed., and Ph.D. degrees from UNLV and remains deeply committed to ensuring every student—regardless of background or zip code—has access to an excellent education.
